111Skin Y Theorem Day Cream- Literally the cream of the crop! Love this stuff! My face is normally peeling from the dryness (and if I’m being honest from picking at it!) but I also recently mentioned that my neck was feeling extremely dry. I even tried facial mists but after the first time using this moisturizer on my face and neck no more neck dryness! Like not at all, zip, zero! It is definitely on the pricey side and I totally understand why but you know I like my bargains and found ways to keep up my supply. I was able to try the first tub through the August Allure beauty box (only $23!!) and then got my coworker to get another beauty box for me haha! Ipsy (another subscription “bag”) will include 111Skin items periodically so I was able to order the overnight cream for $18! From now on I’ll be keeping an eye out for these moisturizers every Ipsy sale..yeah that good 🙂
e.l.f finishing powder- I always stayed clear from finishing and setting powders nervous that I would look like a makeup amateur aka clown (I have pics!) But that all changed when my cousin came to visit me this summer in the Nashville heat. We going around finding murals to take pictures and I asked her what was she wearing that made her makeup look so blended and flawless and would you believe she pulled out the e.l.f finishing powder!? I put some on and instantly my bronzer and blush didn’t look so harsh and blended nicely with the rest of my makeup. The best part no clown face! I haven’t tried any other finishing powders as of recently but I’m super impressed with this $3!! one.
Laura Mercier Setting powder- Look at that another powder! This is a crowd favorite and I was tired of my under eye concealer creasing so I decided to try it. There are different shades and then the original translucent one which is the one chose. A Sephora associate told me it’s best to use the translucent one for setting the under eye and the others are better for setting your face. Letting you in on a little secret: the Allure beauty box has add on sales and the smaller size of this wonderful setting powder is part of it for only $12! I have the large size and ordered the smaller one for traveling or throwing in my purse.
Criss Cross denim- Oh this is my favorite of them all! This trend is really catching my eye. I believe Agolde made the first pair of these jeans and now I’ve been seeing more and more brands duplicate this flattering style. There are many forms including denim pants and shorts, distressed and non distressed in multiple colors. I have the denim shorts from Blank NYC, these are VERY tight in the legs that I had to size up to 28 or 29 (normally 26) so I’ll need the waist taken in. I also have the dad jeans from Abercrombie and those fit beautifully! I got both the 26 and 27 and like the 26 on my waist but liked how the 27 were just a tad more loose on the legs. Abercrombie has these in the dad shorts as well in a light and medium wash that are both on sale along with the dad jeans. I see this style being very popular this Fall and Winter!
Skye 11:11 oil/perfume- Another item discovered through the Allure beauty box. I had ordered a scent set that included the Sky 11:11 body oil and it was my favorite of all the scents included. What I like most about the body oil is that it’s not as thick as you would think, it’s thin and therefore absorbs quickly. I’m obsessed and have to have the full size perfume now.
Starbucks Pumpkin Cream cheese muffin- There’s a cupcake place here in Nashville, The Cupcake Collection, that sells a Sweet Potato cupcake (their best seller and sells out early everyday!) and this muffin taste pretty darn similar and they offer to warm it up for you! Just go do yourself a favor and get yourself one!
